The Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards 2016 have come to an end as the winners for this year?s competition are revealed. This year?s contest featured over 2,200 hilarious entries from around the world, with each of the contenders combining exquisite photography skills and perfect comedy timing. The awards ceremony took place at the Underdog Gallery in London on November 9, with winners collecting trophies in five separate categories and an additional 10 highly commended photographers each receiving a certificate. Comedy Wildlife Photo Awards 2016’nın kazananları, bir David Attenborough belgeselinden blooper makarasına benzeyen bir fotoğraf koleksiyonuyla ilan edildi.

Yargıçlar paneli, dünya genelinde 2200’den fazla katılımcıyı taramayı başardı ve bunları beş ayrı kategoride sadece beş kazanan ve bunlara ek olarak on adet övgüye değer fotoğraflar ekledi.

Genel ve On the Land kategorilerindeki en büyük ödül, Yellowstone Milli Parkı’ndaki kara (üstteki resim) bir tilki yüzünün fotoğrafı için yaptığı ABD’li Angela Bohlke’ye verildi.

Bohlke, “Resim, sabah kahvaltısı için küçük bir kemirgen olan av tüfeği olduğunu gösteriyor” dedi Bohlke, “Bu fotoğraf ne yazıkki kaçınılmaz olarak kaçırdığı zamanlardan biridir. Üçüncü denemede nihayet başardı. ”
